Every successful expedition follows a plan, and this map is designed to guide you one manageable step at a time. There is no need to conquer the entire castle in a single day. Simply follow the path, celebrate each victory, and remember that even the mightiest dragons are defeated one careful step at a time, so you’ve got this. Gather your gear. Your adventure begins now.
The Official Hero’s Clutter-Clearing Quest Map
Quest Step One: Gathering Your Adventurer’s Gear, preparing for the Expedition
Before entering the Caverns of Clutter, every brave adventurer needs the right tools. Gather your supplies, prepare your battle plan and create a safe path through the chaos.
Three treasure chests (boxes):
- The Discard Chest: For Items ready to leave the castle
- The Sharing Chest: For Treasures that can bless another adventurer
- The Keeper Chest: For Treasures that belong in your castle

Quest Step Two: Defeating the Clutter Monster
The realm is filled with abandoned objects, broken relics, and treasures that have lost their magic.
One by one, examine each artifact and ask:
- Does this treasure still serve me?
- Does it bring joy, purpose, or value to my castle?
- If not, is it time to release it back into the world?
If the treasure has lost its magic, into the Discard Chest it goes.
Quest Step Three: Sharing the Treasures of the Realm, Passing Along the Bounty
Not every treasure belongs in your castle. Some items are waiting for another traveler on their own quest. Donate, gift, or pass along your extra riches so they can continue their journey and become someone else’s treasure. If another adventurer could use its magic, into the Sharing Chest it goes.
Quest Step Four: Protecting the Treasures You Keep, creating Your Sanctuary
The next challenge is caring for the treasures that remain, Choosing Your Lasting Treasures. Not every artifact belongs in the kingdom, but some are worthy of remaining in your castle. Choose the treasures that truly serve your life, bring you joy, or support your adventures. These are the possessions you’ve intentionally decided deserve a place in your realm.
Give each item a proper place in your castle. For every treasure that belongs, place it into the Keeper Chest.
Quest Step Five: Returning the Treasures to Their Rightful Place, every Artifact Needs a Home
A wise adventurer knows that a treasure left sitting in a chest is simply tomorrow’s clutter waiting to happen. Now open your Keeper Chest and sort through each remaining artifact.
Ask yourself:
- Where does this treasure truly belong?
- Is there a logical place where I’ll easily find it again?
- Does its home make sense for how I use it?
Give every item a permanent home in your castle.
When every artifact has its rightful place, your castle becomes easier to maintain, your pathways stay clear, and future clutter monsters find far fewer places to hide.
Quest Step six: Celebrate the Victory
Every hero deserves a reward. Do something that feels even slightly celebratory! This is an important step, so do not skip this.
Congratulations for creating a lighter load, a clearer path, a peaceful castle and a realm that reflects the hero you have become.
Every castle tells a story. Some tell the story of years spent holding onto things that no longer serve us. Others tell the story of courage, the courage to let go, to make room, and to choose intentionally what deserves a place in our lives.
As you continue your own Clutter-Clearing Quest, remember that this journey isn’t about achieving perfection. It’s about creating a home that supports the life you want to live and reflects the hero you are becoming.
So celebrate every drawer you’ve reclaimed, every box you’ve released, and every step you’ve taken toward a lighter load.
